Agrad: When a Vision Becomes a Place

In Aschau Chiemgau, the Agrad chalet village is a project that exemplifies what is possible when architecture, planning, craftsmanship, and project development are conceived as a unified whole.

What began as an idea for a few vacation homes evolved, in collaboration with the Heinrichsberger family, into an extraordinary resort featuring chalets and suites nestled in the heart of the Chiemgau Alps. From the initial vision through project development to the craftsmanship of the build, brüderl. oversaw every phase of the project.

The central question was how to combine modern hospitality, regional identity, and sustainable construction. The result is a place that deliberately breaks away from common Alpine clichés and instead focuses on timeless architecture, high-quality materials, and a close connection to the landscape.

The implementation required a great deal of experience, precision, and teamwork. At the same time, the project demonstrates how important it is to think beyond traditional tasks and to develop new perspectives together with the clients.

Agrad is thus much more than just a vacation village. It is an example of how a shared vision can give rise to a place that inspires people and stands the test of time.
